MY FULL REVIEW OF ASUS ZENFONE 8/8Z
➽ I have been using this phone for a couple of weeks, now and what’s the deal with it.
➽ Is this a phone worth considering what are its pros and cons. well, let’s talk about all that in today's blog.

➽ So, this year asus launched a two flagships' zenfone phones in the 8 and 8 filp and frankly it was little confusing,
➽ but we have spoken a lot about the confusion in the tech guidance page if you did not visit that page please check Again.
➽ So right now ,I'm just gonna talk about the smaller phone the zenfone 8 and that’s actually a killer features the reason why I feel this phone is amazing.
➽ The smaller form factors the fact that its small that makes it pretty unique that makes it stand out from other phones these days because most phones they are becoming pretty huge and unwieldy.
➽ personally if I wanted a larger screen I had end up using a tablet or I will switch to my PC.
➽ I would prefer doing that me personally for a phone. I would prefer to have something that’s easy to hold up and dock easily and used single handed,
➽ now that means I should haved loved the iphone 12 mini I thought I would but turns out it was a little too small for practical use hitting some keys with these stubby fingers now and then it was a pain
➽ asus, with the zenfone 8 they have managed to walk the fine line between keeping it small and keeping it practical now .
BUILD AND DESIGN:
➽ The case is included in the box by the way even with the case on the zenfone 8 feels pretty light in hand and its sleek,
➽ now given the display is 5.9 inches and even hitting the opposite top and corner when using the phone single handed didn’t feel awkward
➽ now while we are here let me take a moment to point out why I had to use the ASUS zenfone 8 with the case on.
➽ We have corning gorilla glass victus on front and gorilla glass 3 to the back and smooth aluminum frame all around so the grip is well nonexistence ,
➽ so using a case with this one is mandatory the texture to the back with this case it improves air ergonomics ,
➽ a lot it makes you feel a lot safer using this phone now fun fact one of the things fact that it has a matte back finished
➽ I was hoping it didn’t pick up a lot of fingerprint
➽ but I never really got around to testing it because I never handled the phone that way and I'm guessing that’s going to to be the same with anybody who’s buying this phone you are going to have to leave case on
Sundries
➽ Other points worth mentioning with the zenfone 8 we have ip68 water resistant and stereo speakers
➽ now talk about music there is a headphone jack check, but micro SD card has been cut
➽ so anyways guys That's pretty much it for the build in Design.
Display
➽ Let's know jump to the display.
➽ this panel is also beautiful there is nothing to complain about that is also beautiful
➽ there is nothing to complain about that it's a super amoled panel
➽ it's very bright it's got HDR 10+ support
➽ the refresh rate is 120 Hz so very smooth.
➽ so everything that you had expert from a flagship phone asus zenfone 8 has provided it's great for watching videos and what not
Specs
➽ you can't really talked about conception without taking games with the Snapdragon 888 chip under hood this is the best performance
➽ you are gonna get out of Android phone and it doesn't Run hotter or anything it manages to run even the most demanding emulators as well as with any other flagship phone out there now with their Android games like I mean genshin impact against it manage to run everything smooth clean now
➽ given the smaller size of phone using it with even a ridiculous size controller like a Samsung clap it doable it didn't really feel uncomfortable now
➽ rounding out the specs you get 6 / 8 /12 /16 GB Ram options coupled with 128 / 256 gigs of storage RAM is LPDDR5 the storage is UFS 3.1
➽ so all the top spec and its backed up by a 4000 hours battery which stays me all day usually I had considered my typical usage moderate and I didn't feel the need to Plug in it before the end of a day on any of the days are you zenfone
➽ now if you do need to charge the included 30 watt charger due from 0 to 65 in hour 30 minutes and full charge takes it a little under hour and half its not a fastest but the chargers are include in the box that is huge positive in these days
Software
➽ now it's not just hardware that cools the software to it's always been a plus for ASUS phone it continues to be so the zenfone 8th ZEN UI is amongst the lightest of user interfaces
➽ it keeps most think stock and there is absolutely no bloatware so the stress on resources it pretty low coupled with very strong resources to begin with even decent Ram management.
➽ the software experience it's really great here so I don't really have any complaints at all it will optimize it lives it was pretty much what you have expect from a flagship phone .
Camera
➽ now one area that there are a lot of us including here yours truly felt Asus had compromised on I had say
optics
➽ that is no flip model we are down to two sensors from the three.
➽ so how do the camera fare was that corner cut was the experience bad Actually
➽ No I like them do I wish there was a telephoto but these two were not bad at all on the primary camera 64-megapixel f /1.8 lens that is stabilized secondary is a 12 Megapixel with if 2.2 without stabilizer and both cameras expected did great outdoors.
➽ Okay, but let's be honest what camera doesn't do well under good light these days so that was expected right
➽ what was not expected though was a fact that even the 8k footage it was very stable In give a good
➽ now the main Test Though was under low light test to throw some pictures in and say those two pictures on amazing that just doesn't do much right
➽ because what is amazing what we could without point of the victims so decided to compare the low light camera the ones on iPhone 12 Pro and one plus 9 and primary cells were here get closely
➽ but not zoomed in I would that say I prefer the color on a zenfone 8 you can see that the iPhone rate and better detailed it just a little more detail here again here is
➽ another example I had like for you to pay attention to details there with Ultra wide surprising asus had a lead over the I phone in the low light pictures came out much better so the cameras
➽ I would say there are good but call me greedy I had still have a lot of flip in this form factor I know we have had to train off you know the trade-off would have been ip68 resistance but flip cameras uninterrupted display in this form factor would have been cool
judgement:
➽ the zenfone 8 it feel likes a solid all-around phone is this the best in class the gold standard for flagships today i wouldn't call it that it is not but its s very good flagship phone
➽ I kept pushing best small phone with awesome features
PRIce point of view:
➽ i pushing the review more and more because i knew once i was done with the review i had to swap my self to something else and i really didn't want to do that is how much i actually ended up liking this one from a pricing perspective
➽ we only have to officially European surprising that moment and Europe
➽ it starts at 600 euros making it slightly less expensive than one plus 9
➽ that is more compared to the phone I feel that his phone is a lot more interesting so I'm pretty happy at a price point of a well.
